**Job Title:** Senior Java Developer

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will design, create, and implement Java-based solutions, ranging from mobile applications to database programming.

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop code for proof-of-concepts and prototypes aligned with solution architecture.
- Manage performance and provide information on improvements.
- Define functional and non-functional business requirements and translate them into architectural requirements.
- Lead the design, coding, unit testing, and debugging of applications in various programming languages.
- Create technical specifications for Custom Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and configure products accordingly.
- Maintain subject matter expertise on functionality and solution architecture.

**Requirements:**
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Proven experience in managing software project deliveries.
- Proficiency in Java (version 11), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.
- Familiarity with SQL databases; NoSQL preferred; experience with messaging platforms like Kafka, JMS, or MQ.
- Experience with Agile development practices and tools.
- Proficient in UNIX, Linux, and Shell scripting.
- Experience with Oracle and MS-SQL databases.

**Desired Skills:**
- Banking experience is preferred.
