**Position Summary:**
The Finance team is responsible for managing a large volume of transactions including journal entry processing, producing client documentation, light audit functions, payment processing, and supporting other department inquiries. This role is ideal for a strong team player with a high attention to detail looking to enhance their knowledge of premium funding processes.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the administration of changes to premium funding contracts as requested by clients (i.e., payment collection, negative endorsements).
- Process and distribute cheques and verify all payments to appropriate accounts.
- Prepare daily deposits and client documentation.
- Meet service level objectives and support Finance and Treasury functions.
- Adhere to approved processes and audit requirements.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous financial processing and/or administration experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and reasoning skills.
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work with a focus on customer service.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members and customers.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and adapt to new situations.
**Qualifications:**
- Knowledge of administrative duties, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and MS Word.
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a finance/business course.
