**Current Rate of Pay:** Min = $36.68/hr, Max = $42.51/hr

**Position Summary**
The Lead Hand, Conservation Parks & Lands coordinates and oversees the operational activities of TRCA's public-use conservation parks and facilities. This role includes maintenance, event planning, and day-to-day operations.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Coordinate operational activities for conservation park, campground, and golf course operations.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing functionality and safety of TRCA’s facilities.
- Plan and develop daily programs and recommend program enhancements.
- Oversee facility maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Complete seasonal grounds maintenance and ensure service delivery standards.
- Safely operate fleet vehicles, utility vehicles, and various equipment.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance and health and safety checks.
- Lead safety meetings and document facility inspections.

**Qualifications**
**Education:**
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Facility Management, Turf Management, Resources Management, Business, or a related field.

**Experience:**
- 3+ years of experience in a related field coordinating teams.

**Skills and Competencies:**
- Demonstrated skills in facility maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, landscaping).
- Strong communication skills for informing in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and online collaboration tools (MS Teams, WebEx, SharePoint).
