**Starting Salary Range:** $99,800 - $109,000 (commensurate upon experience)
**Overview:**
WWF-Canada is focused on its 10-year plan to Regenerate Canada, aiming to enhance resilient habitats, restore ecosystems, and combat wildlife and biodiversity loss. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting these efforts through effective development practices.
**Position Description:**
WWF-Canada is seeking a highly collaborative and experienced Lead Specialist, Development Research & Planning. In this role, you will manage processes for prospect management and revenue planning, contributing to the fundraising strategy and ensuring departmental goals are met.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead prospect identification and management, ensuring data is effectively leveraged for strategy.
- Collaborate with the Development leadership team to align with the Regenerate Canada campaign goals.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for evaluating prospect research and pipeline growth.
- Manage revenue planning and tracking processes in tandem with senior development and finance staff.
- Chair Fundraising Outlook meetings to coordinate revenue-generating teams.
- Provide strategic analytics and ROI assessments to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Oversee data tools and resources for the Development department, ensuring access to major gift research tools and information.
- Manage and support the Specialist, Philanthropic Research to ensure high-quality internal service.
- Work with stakeholders to enhance donor recognition and stewardship efforts.
- Stay informed about fundraising trends and tools to maintain a competitive edge.
- Coach and guide team members to optimize execution and skill development.
**What We Are Looking For:**
- 6+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or related fields.
- Relevant education in fundraising, development, or related areas, or additional experience.
- Proven experience leading prospect management systems in complex organizations.
- Strong research, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for donor strategy.
- Proficiency with relational databases and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with fundraising CRM databases, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in budget planning and management.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with the Canadian business landscape is an asset.
**Other Information:**
- Occasional national travel and evening/weekend work may be required.
