**Position Summary**
The Learning Architect plays a pivotal role in discovering the best educational content to support institutional goals and enhance employee learning, development, and performance. You will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs and technologies through the Centennial College’s Talent Academy. This role requires building positive relationships with internal partners and clients to meet the evolving needs of our learning community. The Learning Architect will oversee the work of Instructional Designers and Learning Specialists, including performance reporting.
**Responsibilities**
- Build and manage internal relationships through collaboration on learning needs and technology tools.
- Lead program development and work with Instructional Designers/e-learning developers for smooth e-learning content deployment.
- Design accessible and inclusive learning programs for diverse learners.
- Train and support clients on the Learning Management System (LMS) and related technologies.
- Stay current on industry trends and guide on best practices.
- Participate actively in committees, professional associations, and college-wide events.
- Develop assessment tools for learning effectiveness and report outcomes.
- Oversee the performance of team members in developing innovative learning solutions.
- Analyze performance data and report on learning outcomes, making recommendations for enhancements.
- Monitor e-learning engagement and completion metrics.
**Qualifications/Experience**
- Advanced degree in Education, Learning and Development, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a learning and development environment.
- High commitment to Indigenous Education, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles.
- Experience designing online and virtual learning modalities that are inclusive.
- Excellent relationship management, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Proven project leadership skills in managing projects through all stages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and e-learning development tools.
- Strong technical aptitude with a capability to learn new technologies.
- Knowledge of adult education principles and instructional design techniques.
- Experience in a post-secondary environment is an asset.
