**Position: Manager, Human Resources**
**Type: Permanent Full-Time, 35 hours/week**
**Location: In-office (5 days/week)**

YouthLink is dedicated to empowering youth by providing essential support, guidance, and positive opportunities for growth. Our services include counseling, in-home support, shelter, housing assistance, educational support, and welcoming drop-in spaces.

**Role Overview:**
Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources, the Manager, Human Resources will provide expert human resource and people management guidance within a unionized environment. This position oversees a team of three HR Generalists and contributes to the development and implementation of human resources strategies, policies, and practices involving talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, payroll, and benefits administration.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Champion initiatives promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in HR practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of HR Generalists, facilitating their professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with the Collective Agreement and effectively manage employee relations.
- Actively contribute to the organization’s strategic initiatives and HR projects.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and manage employee data.
- Foster a positive workplace environment focused on employee engagement and satisfaction.

**Qualifications:**
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources; CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on generalist activities in a unionized environment.
- Proven leadership experience with a coaching approach.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, payroll administration, and HRIS management.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to navigate conflict effectively.
