**Position Overview:**
The Manager, Machine Learning Development and Analytics is responsible for overseeing a team of machine learning analysts to deliver high-quality, efficient, and impactful machine learning solutions in support of business functions across Fidelity Canada. Reporting to the VP Business Analytics, this position is critical in ensuring the Finance and Corporate Services department achieves its goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise the development, testing, and optimization of machine learning models.
- Oversee the management of data pipelines, infrastructure, and tools for machine learning.
- Stay current with machine learning research and promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning projects, including planning, execution, and deployment.
- Ensure models adhere to industry standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and analysts.

**Qualifications:**
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Developer with end-to-end development experience.
- Experience managing a team of statisticians and/or machine learning analysts.
- Deep knowledge of data manipulation, machine learning, and statistical frameworks (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost).
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering concepts (ETL, Data Warehousing) in AWS and Snowflake.
- Experience with Amazon SageMaker as a data science platform.

**Desired Skills:**
- Extensive knowledge of the financial industry and capital markets, focusing on asset and/or wealth management.
- Hands-on experience with advanced machine learning techniques and big data technologies.
- Proven track record of adopting new tools and processes to enhance analysis efficiency.
- Graduate degree in Data Science or a related field is an asset.
- AWS Machine Learning and/or SnowPro Core Certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
