**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Senior Strategic Supply Management professional to support our Global Supply Planning team. This role is responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of materials required for Operations, R&D, and Quality Control while maintaining inventory targets and minimizing obsolescence. You will provide leadership to a team of packaging and excipient buyers across the Apotex network, overseeing procurement processes and identifying opportunities for workflow improvement.

**Job Responsibilities**

- Act as the primary point of contact for supply-related issues for assigned products throughout their lifecycle.
- Prepare a 12-month Supply Plan and manage materials ensuring a continuous supply.
- Create and issue Purchase Orders and Process Orders for production and packaging.
- Communicate effectively with senior managers to align material requirements with strategic business priorities.
- Participate in projects to implement new or improved Supply Management processes.
- Develop and maintain processes using LEAN methodology to support optimal procurement.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate cross-functional discussions on solutions.
- Contribute to the establishment and adjustment of inventory target levels in collaboration with supply chain and operations teams.
- Support overall materials governance programs and assist in ensuring compliance with site procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**

**Education:**

- University or Community College graduate in a relevant field.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

- Knowledge of SAP or equivalent MRP/ERP systems and technology.
- General understanding of GMP and Pharmaceutical requirements.
- Proficient in office, business, and statistical software (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal clients.
- Capability to develop strong credibility with senior level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated managerial skills to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to resolve issues effectively and take ownership of performance.

**Experience:**

- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Supply Management or Procurement.
- Experience in corporate procurement governance and material planning is an asset.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams to deliver results.
