**About The Role**
In this opportunity as Manager of Research Engineering, you will:

- Coach engineering leads within the team

**About You**
You're a fit for the role of Manager of Research Engineering if your background includes:
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent; Master’s or PhD in a relevant specialization preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years' software development experience, with the demonstrated ability to successfully manage software development teams in an agile environment.
- Experience spearheading technical development in a cross-functional setting, with responsibility for ML applications in partnership with Applied Scientists or R&D groups.
- A portfolio showcasing significant contributions to technology innovation.
- Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills.
- Expertise in several of the following areas: robust Python development, MLOps, containerization, cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure), advanced search and recommendation technology, orchestration of ML pipelines for real-time inference, microservices architecture, model monitoring, and governance.

**Compensation**
The base compensation range for this role varies by location:
- **Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY:** $131,000 - $243,400
- **Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; fully remote:** $137,900 - $256,100

This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
