**About the Role:**
We are seeking a Manager of Risk Strategy for Account Management & Loss Mitigation. This role is pivotal in developing and executing credit risk management, cross-sell/upsell, and loss mitigation strategies. You will leverage advanced analytics, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to optimize Return on Assets (ROA) and manage risk across the organization. Collaboration with product, sales, and operations teams is essential, and we value a fun and positive team culture.

**What You'll Do:**
- Build, maintain, and enhance consumer credit policies, strategies, and tests to optimize ROA
- Segment troubled borrowers and collaborate with operations to minimize losses
- Identify existing customers best suited for incremental products and services
- Develop backtesting, monitoring, and reporting processes
- Conduct regular loan quality audits and recommend policy changes
- Enhance team efficiency by identifying high-quality data sources and automation opportunities
- Analyze trends and connect findings with real-world events and customer behaviors
- Contribute to strategic projects related to risk management and company growth
- Foster a positive, team-first attitude

**Requirements:**
- University degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline
- 3+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, data science, risk management, or finance
- Proven ability to create communications and presentations ready for senior management
- Advanced skills in data manipulation and statistical modeling (proficiency in Angoss Knowledgeseeker, SAS, Python, and SQL)
- Experience with indirect lending, consumer credit risk, and analysis in a financial institution is a strong asset
- Strong strategic thinking, judgment, and communication skills
- Highly organized and driven with the ability to manage competing priorities
