**Job Title: Human Resources Manager**
**Location:** Hybrid role based in Canada, near a Marsh McLennan office.
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Human Resource team at Marsh McLennan. As a Human Resources Manager, you will coach, support, and advise People Managers, aiming to develop and enhance the quality of people management throughout the colleague lifecycle. You will collaborate with a community of HR professionals across several businesses and have the potential to be involved in project work.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deploy enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to Managers across the HR portfolio, including performance management, skills development, learning, succession planning, absent/leave management, change management, organizational effectiveness, and total rewards.
- Support employee relations matters including investigations, performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals.
- Coordinate the rollout and delivery of HR programs and contribute to process improvements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with functional teams (Finance, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition) to support alignment between people and business strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations, including reporting requirements.
- Consult with People Partners and CoE to determine best practices and continuously improve delivery methods.
**Qualifications:**
- Bilingual: Advanced English and French language fluency.
- 4+ years of relevant Canadian HR experience and suitable qualifications.
- Thorough understanding of local laws, regulations, company policies, and HR processes.
- Experience in supporting managers with employee relations case management.
- Ability to work independently with initiative, discretion, and tact.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively coach managers through all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar systems.
- HR-related certifications.
