**Position: Mechanical Engineering Intern**
**Location:** Toronto, Canada
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rocket Lab, you will support the Space Systems Division in bringing new reaction wheel and star tracker products to market. The Mechanical Engineering team is responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of all mechanical aspects of our products.

- Work closely with your mentor and team members to apply your knowledge and grow your technical skills.
- Collaborate with a fast-paced group of professionals to address real engineering challenges.
- Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to facilitate learning and provide progress updates.
- Participate in tech talks and network with other interns and employees through social and professional events.
**Qualifications:**
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or mathematics, with at least one semester remaining post-internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Minimum of 3 months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, or relevant projects).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- GPA of 3.5 or above.
- 6+ months of applied engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Experience with mechanical design using CAD, particularly SolidEdge.
**Additional Requirements:**
- Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks beginning May 5, 2025.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
- Eligible for a stipend to subsidize relocation costs.
