Our Science & Regulatory team plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance in healthcare communications. This dedicated group of medical writers, editors, and regulatory affairs experts reviews every piece of content, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and contributing to better health outcomes.
**Job Description**
- **Work term:** Permanent, Full-time
- **Location:** Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
As a Medical Editor, you will collaborate with a high-performing team to design and deliver digital marketing sites, media, apps, and other projects. Your responsibilities will include proofreading, attending regulatory reviews, and more. You will receive support from an exceptional leadership team and have opportunities to learn from top professionals in digital marketing.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- An advanced degree in a relevant field: PhD, PharmD, or MD
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to critically evaluate medical and scientific information
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
**Desired Qualifications:**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members
- Experience in medical editing, preferably within a healthcare advertising or communications agency
- A positive, driven, empathetic, trustworthy, and kind approach
**What You'll Do:**
- Review and edit medical and scientific content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, style, and compliance
- Collaborate closely with medical writers, designers, and project managers to ensure the quality of promotional content, slide decks, websites, e-learning modules, and manuscripts
- Conduct fact-checking and source verification for all medical information in client materials
- Provide feedback and guidance on content development, ensuring scientific accuracy while maintaining engaging communication
- Stay up-to-date with industry guidelines, regulations, and best practices
