**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a qualified Sales Representative specialized in mental health for the Toronto territory. The Mental Health Specialist will be part of a regional team dedicated to achieving sales targets for Lundbeck Canada. This role reports to a Regional Business Manager in Psychiatry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
*Achievement of Sales Objectives (50%)*
- Achieve territory sales objectives for Lundbeck promoted products in Psychiatry.
- Implement territory plans of action, including established field call activities.
- Promote Lundbeck psychiatry and partnered products to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers in a compliant manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients while identifying their needs.
*Business Planning (25%)*
- Develop and regularly revisit a territory business plan to maximize sales efforts.
- Manage field budget and optimize customer interaction.
- Use sales performance reports (KPIs) to enhance performance across the territory.
- Collaborate with sales team members and other departments to maximize product potential.
*Medical Communication and Education Activities (20%)*
- Implement certified programs and learning activities as per the action plan.
- Collaborate with Medical Science Liaison and Medical Education teams to identify educational opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards in all learning activities.
*Administration and Corporate Compliance (5%)*
- Maintain the key customer target list and document field activities in the CRM.
- Ensure timely use of the company’s expense reporting system.
- Comply with Lundbeck Canada's legal and compliance procedures.
**Position Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in the CNS field and/or working with psychiatrists is an asset.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with technology, including proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel).
