**The Opportunity:**
We are seeking a New Accounts Administrator to join our Operations team for a 12-month contract. Reporting to the Supervisor, New Accounts, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of new accounts and fee-based accounts in a timely and accurate manner within the IIROC dealer space. The role requires daily interaction with other Operations team members and our Service Centre. Continuous improvement is paramount, and the incumbent will be expected to contribute to ideas for enhanced efficiencies.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process new account setups in line with Service Level Agreements, particularly with top-tier Credit Unions.
- Provide administrative support for fee-based business lines, including ongoing account maintenance and generating monthly fees.
- Ensure accurate processing by following company protocols and providing clear documentation.
- Utilize relevant systems (Laserfiche, OSM, Dataphile) in compliance with company policy and industry regulations.
- Maintain updated internal manuals reflecting changes in policy and updates.
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors regarding issues and changes.
- Schedule cross-training to ensure comprehensive knowledge of processing functions.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging idea generation and participation in initiatives.
- Meet or exceed partner and client expectations in daily operations.
**Requirements:**
- Completion of a post-secondary program in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Minimum one year of administrative experience, preferably in the Mutual Fund or Financial Industry.
- Knowledge of Dataphile is an asset.
- A background in the Credit Union system is advantageous.
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) course is a plus.
- Fluent English communication skills are required; bilingual skills in French are an asset.

**Salary:**
This position offers an expected salary range of $43,000 - $53,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation will be determined based on various factors unique to each candidate and position requirements.
