**The Opportunity:**
We're looking for a New Accounts Administrator to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Supervisor, New Accounts, the New Accounts Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day processing of new accounts and fee-based accounts within the IIROC dealer space.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process new account setups according to Service Level Agreements
- Provide administrative support for fee-based business lines and ongoing maintenance of accounts
- Ensure proper protocol is followed when processing requests with clear documentation
- Utilize systems (Laserfiche, OSM, Dataphile) in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Ensure correct account setups as per NAAFs and accurate transaction coding
- Keep internal manuals updated with changes in policy and industry regulations
- Communicate with peers and supervisors regarding issues or changes
- Schedule cross-training to ensure understanding of processing functions
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement

**Requirements:**
- Completion of a post-secondary program in Finance or Business is preferred
- Minimum one year of administrative experience, ideally in the Mutual Fund or Financial Industry
- Knowledge of Dataphile is an asset
- Background in the Credit Union system is advantageous
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) course is an asset
- Fluent communication skills in English; bilingual skills in French are an asset

**Salary:**
This position offers an expected salary range of $43,000 - $53,000 CAD annually, based on various factors unique to each candidate.
