**YOUR ROLE**
As a New Business Development Specialist, your mission is to introduce Canadian business leaders to a more effective way of providing employee benefits. You will be responsible for identifying and connecting with high-potential clients across Canada and setting up appointments for them with our licensed advisors.

**What To Expect**
We have designed a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure you’re fully prepared to excel in your role. You’ll be paired with a dedicated trainer who will provide ongoing support as you learn about our mission, values, target markets, products, and what sets us apart from our competitors.

**What You’ll Do**
- Identify small and medium-sized businesses across Canada that would benefit from GroupHEALTH’s employee benefits solutions.
- Engage with prospective clients via phone and email to introduce our offerings.
- Assess the needs and readiness of potential clients.
- Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and our licensed advisors.
- Maintain organized records of all interactions with prospects in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with other sales professionals to optimize performance.
- Work towards meeting individual and team goals for lead generation.
- Represent GroupHEALTH with professionalism in all interactions.

**THIS IS YOU**
- Experience in cold-calling, prospecting, or business development.
- Professional and articulate with strong communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a relentless drive to achieve goals.
- Passionate about sales and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick thinker and adaptable to changing situations.
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
- Tech-savvy with a good understanding of modern sales tools.
