**Job Posting: Occupational Therapist**

**Total FTE Available:** 1.0 FTE

**Location:** Board-Wide - Multiple Locations

**Salary Range:**
- Degree holder (Category 2): $64,253.00 - $98,367.00 (annually)
- Master holder (Category 3): $70,574.00 - $113,928.00 (annually)

**Position Summary:**
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Special Education and Learning Services, the Occupational Therapist will provide assessment, planning, consultation, and intervention to enhance student potential for learning and participation in the educational environment. The role involves supporting students with diverse learning profiles, including physical, motor, sensory, coordination, and behavioral needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Direct Student Support (65%)**
- Conduct assessments and propose accommodations for students with complex learning and developmental needs.
- Provide short-term intervention and support skill acquisition in collaboration with school teams.
- **Indirect Student Support (30%)**
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings, co-facilitate goal setting meetings, and consult with staff and families regarding student development.
- **Other Duties (5%)**
- Adhere to policies and provide professional development to staff.

**Qualifications:**
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in school settings.
- Registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Knowledge of specialized equipment and the Ministry of Education SEA process.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
