**Position Overview:**
As an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will assess and provide consultation, recommendations, and interventions to a diverse group of pediatric clients in their homes and/or schools, utilizing evidence-based best practices. You will ensure coordinated care through ongoing communication with the client care team while promoting independence and VHA’s core values.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess and implement occupational therapy interventions following professional practice guidelines and standards.
- Develop client interventions based on assessment information and in conjunction with the client’s integrated care plan.
- Ensure services provided are evidence-based and evaluated using valid and reliable outcome measures.
- Maintain ongoing communication with all members of the client’s care team regarding intervention plans and schedules.
- Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries as required.
- Support safe client care through continuous quality improvement initiatives.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Skilled in caseload management and electronic documentation.
- Ability to provide virtual care.
- Registered ADP authorizer (asset).
