**Job Summary:**
DHL Express is seeking an Operations Supervisor (Retail) to oversee daily operations at our Scarborough facility. The ideal candidate will be a high-potential leader capable of proactive management of employees involved in the inbound/outbound transit of packages and freight.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Recruit, orient, train, schedule, and manage all operations staff.
- Monitor compliance of shipments and ensure resolution of customer requests and service failures.
- Liaise between internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement productivity, quality, and cost measurements to achieve operational results.
- Complete timely reports for management regarding staffing, attendance, and incident reports.
- Provide coaching and feedback to support team development.
- Ensure timely distribution of freight and maintain updated shipment status reports.
- Establish a proactive safety program in compliance with legislation.
- Address escalated customer complaints professionally and expediently.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes.
- Monitor KPIs and provide daily trend reports to management.
- Train team on sales tactics to drive revenue growth.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a unionized environment (warehouse or logistics preferred).
- Understanding of Collective Agreements and Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods compliance and experience with Canada customs is an asset.
- Strong initiative, flexibility, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
- College or University designation preferred.

**Schedule:**
Monday to Friday, with shifts from 11 AM to 7 PM or 12 PM to 8 PM, depending on business needs. Flexibility for weekend on-call availability is required.
