At McGraw Hill, our Global Technology Services organization drives progress and helps build the future of learning. We are seeking an Oracle & ETL Developer to join our innovative Interface team.

**Your Impact on the Team**
As an Oracle & ETL Developer, you will provide hands-on support to our internal business units. You will collaborate closely with Salesforce, business stakeholders, and other technology teams to build robust solutions in a dynamic and intellectually challenging environment. Strong research, troubleshooting, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills are essential. You must be able to work both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating a high level of motivation and work ethic.

**What You Can Expect from the Position**
- Address defects and change requests while working with SA, BA, and the Testing team to implement requirements.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore development teams to understand project objectives.
- Interact with the business requirements team to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of functionality until production release.
- Review unit and integration testing scope for business requirements.
- Optimize SQL queries and application performance.
- Provide technical assistance, problem resolution, and troubleshooting support.

**What You Can Bring to the Role**
- 4-5 years of experience in application development on Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience in creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Exception handling for complex data set management in Oracle.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and performing query optimization using various techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and analysis of performance reports.
- Experience in data migration at the application/DB version level.
- Familiarity with development and low-level design of solutions.
- Experience with frequent code deployment into multiple environments.
