**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors who are motivated by mathematics and science, eager to help students succeed, and excited to gain valuable teaching experience. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with students and are passionate about helping others build their skills.

**Position Requirements:**
- All Teacher-Tutors must work during after-school hours (3:30 PM - 8:00 PM) and some Saturdays (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
- A commitment to the end of the term in June is preferred, with opportunities to continue through summer.
- Must be able to commute to the location; this is an in-person position.
- Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field; fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will also be considered.
- Teaching certification is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum, particularly in Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Some experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 9 to 12 level.
- Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding.
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.

**Responsibilities:**
As an Interactive Coach, you will:
- Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels, both in-person and online.
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies.
- Document post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

$20 - $22 per hour
