**Your Role:**
The Partner Integration Engineer will focus on integrating our customers with their vendors for B2B e-commerce solutions. This role demands expertise in web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, APIs) and various data formats (JSON, cXML). The ideal candidate will work closely with the Product Manager to define customer requirements and collaborate with product engineers to develop core infrastructure for Punchouts and E-Invoicing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide top-tier software support for Zip’s Punchouts and E-Invoicing products.
- Manage and resolve client inquiries of varying complexity.
- Implement new Punchout vendors and connections to customers’ e-invoicing systems.
- Conduct thorough testing of new integrations and address any arising issues.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to understand unique client implementations.
- Create or update reference documentation for internal and external use.
**Qualifications:**
- Degree in a STEM field (Bachelor’s or higher) with a focus on computer science or IT.
- Minimum of 2 years in a technical role, with experience in web APIs and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with data formats such as JSON and XML.
- Knowledge of transmission methods (sFTP, HTTPS, APIs).
- At least 2 years of customer-facing experience in relevant fields.
- Understanding of Procurement systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Punchouts and e-invoicing workflows is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
