**Position Summary**

Astellas Pharma Canada (APCA) is currently searching for a Platform Engineer – ServiceNow. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving our digital initiatives forward. This position involves working within a dual structure focused on Digital Capability and Digital Execution. The goal is to ensure optimal performance of platforms like ServiceNow while enhancing business processes.

**Responsibilities**

- **Platform Development and Configuration:** Design and configure business platforms to meet organizational needs, including programming and integrating software solutions.
- **System Integration:** Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms to enhance data flow and processes.
- **Performance Monitoring and Optimization:** Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- **User Support and Training:** Provide technical support and conduct training to ensure effective platform use.
- **Collaboration and Initiative Execution:** Actively participate in initiatives and collaborate across digital and business units.
- **Continuous Learning:** Engage in professional development to stay updated on trends and technologies.
- **Quality Assurance:** Ensure high quality and consistency in all deliverables.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years as a solution-driven professional in ServiceNow solutions.
- ServiceNow Mainline certifications across multiple products are expected.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, Virtual Agents, and Service Catalog.
- Experience with at least one additional area: ITAM, APM, CSM, and HRSD/EC Pro.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps integration and ability to develop dashboards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience in Agile methodology and understanding of ITIL frameworks.
- Experience in the Life Sciences/Pharma industry is preferable but not mandatory.
