**Job Title: Platform Performance Architect**

**Position Overview:**
We are expanding our technology teams and seeking a Platform Performance Architect. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in optimizing large-scale distributed systems to define and implement our technology strategy for performance profiling, tooling, and optimization across our global exchange platform. This position reports to the Chief Architect.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Drive the architectural vision and technology roadmap for system performance and optimization.
- Own performance and latency metrics for critical services and pipelines.
- Design, develop, and implement performance profiling and optimization tooling.
- Audit performance budgets for real-time programmatic auctions and web services.
- Support engineering teams in achieving real-time targets for performance improvements.
- Collaborate with the architecture team to enhance the technology roadmap and drive innovation.
- Lead the architecture and design of technology platform modules with a focus on performance engineering.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master's in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial software development; experience in ad tech is preferred.
- 4+ years of technology leadership experience with expertise in low latency distributed platforms.
- Proven track record in performance profiling, optimization, and developing architectural standards.
- Expertise in large-scale systems, streaming pipelines, and transaction flow optimization.
- Experience with continuous integration, build/test automation, and containerization technologies.
