S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Credit Product Specialist to join our experienced Americas team of credit-focused professionals. In this role, you will support a large salesforce across diverse products and solutions. Your success will depend on your ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive attitude.

As a Credit Product Specialist, you will help Sales Executives and Relationship Managers leverage the firm's capabilities in credit ratings, research, data feeds, and quantitative models. You will develop expertise across a wide range of credit and fixed-income solutions provided by our Credit Risk Solutions (CRS) Product team. Familiarity with other Market Intelligence offerings, such as Capital IQ and LCD, will also be essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Promote new sales, client retention, and cross-sell opportunities within the commercial organization.
- Engage proactively with Relationship Managers to support existing client renewals and retention.
- Serve as a product expert in pre-sale diagnostic conversations with prospects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Management and Client Support teams, to gather feedback and market insights.
- Participate in training initiatives for both clients and internal teams to enhance product understanding.
- Identify opportunities for integrating credit products into client workflows, focusing on compliance, regulatory, and risk management solutions.
- Provide clients with technical support on Credit Assessment Scorecards, fostering client relationships to drive renewals and retention.

**Basic Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant industry experience in product sales or market data roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of fixed income/credit markets, preferably from a financial institution or data firm.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills suitable for engaging with senior executives.
- Independent self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
