**Responsibilities:**
- Help define the vision for our Search and Cache products and create a roadmap in line with business goals.
- Translate the vision and strategy for the products into tasks for development.
- Understand the architecture of our Cache and Search products and how they interact with other parts of the business.
- Work closely with our Cache Product Owner and Product analysts to oversee the execution of our vision.
- Own the end-to-end development of our Search Engine.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and review of each sprint.
- Manage and prioritize the backlog for our Search team.
- Be responsible for the P&L of the product with a focus on unit economics and efficiency.
- Maintain accountability among internal technical teams for quality output and product delivery.
- Define and track key KPIs to monitor the impact of delivered features.
- Lead R&D initiatives, including A/B testing, in collaboration with our ML and Data Science teams.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand and anticipate client and user needs.
- Review existing processes to identify opportunities for enhancements.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about the competitive landscape.
- Collect and analyze information to solve complex problems rationally and make timely decisions.
- Interview, onboard, and manage direct reports, providing guidance and serving as a role model.
**Requirements:**
- 5+ years of well-rounded travel industry experience (focus on NDC, GDS, or OTAs).
- Strategic thinker with critical decision-making skills.
- Strong experience in data-backed decision making, statistics, and market research.
- Output and delivery driven; capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced role with significant context switching.
- Highly influential, proactive leader with strong business acumen.
- Strong technical skills and extensive experience working with APIs.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Passion for problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Team player with strong leadership skills and a desire to help develop employees.
- Ability to balance user needs and business goals while validating assumptions.
