**Job Title:** Manager, Own Brand Development

**Position Overview:**
An exciting opportunity to lead the strategic development of our own brand across multiple categories for both B2C and B2B consumers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle process, influencing multiple stakeholders to deliver quality products on time and achieving sales and margin goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Execute long-term category strategic plans to drive trends, sales, and margin in B2C and B2B markets, using sales data analysis, market insights, and vendor feedback.
- Collaborate with store operations, B2B partners, customer service insights, and Staples US to gather consumer feedback and adjust current products accordingly.
- Utilize relationships with Staples US and vendors to identify new opportunities for product sourcing and development.
- Manage an Assistant Product Manager, supporting their career growth and providing timely feedback.
- Conduct competitor analysis, including planograms, retail ranges, and brands, to assess market positioning.
- Generate weekly sales reports to evaluate current assortments and develop strategies for lagging results.

**Qualifications:**
- Post-secondary degree required; Business, Communications, Marketing, or Design preferred.
- Proficient in Excel for sales analysis and PowerPoint for presentations; Illustrator and graphic design experience is a plus.
- Proven experience as a people leader with a focus on the development of direct reports.
- Strong negotiation skills with large-scale vendors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing competing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development and management, particularly in home/office goods.
