**Job Title: Product Owner**

**Location:** Any of our offices across Canada

**About The Role:**
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our growing team! Reporting to the Manager, National Projects (Commercial Lines National Operations and Planning), the ideal candidate will have familiarity with the insurance industry and experience in the Agile approach. The Product Owner will work on the National Contact CL project, focusing on building strong relationships with multiple business teams and IT to manage a national business backlog of priorities.

**What You'll Do:**
- Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and strategy to roll out the product vision.
- Collaborate with the team to establish the product vision.
- Understand the product objectives and the problems it aims to solve.
- Communicate the vision and goals effectively to the team.
- Manage the product backlog by creating and prioritizing development stories and technical debt based on business priorities.
- Communicate progress and deadlines to stakeholders.
- Define KPIs and objectives for the product, using data analytics and feedback to ensure targets are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks by raising concerns regarding product quality to the management team.
- Guide team members effectively to achieve project success.
- Act as a change agent, supporting and influencing adoption of new approaches.
- Coach colleagues in systematic problem solving and strategic thinking.
- Foster good working relationships and effectively communicate ideas.
- Adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.

**What You Bring:**
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Typically requires 5 to 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in Commercial lines (P & C).
- CBAP certification is an asset.
- Exposure to large scale or national projects, and proven knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of the application development cycle, particularly in defining requirements/stories and testing strategies.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects in a team or matrix environment.
- Bilingualism is required for candidates in Quebec to communicate effectively with English-speaking colleagues across Canada.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
