**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a self-starter who will serve as a Product Owner for Open Banking. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the execution of priority outcomes for our Open Banking initiatives, facilitate collaboration, and contribute to Scotiabank’s evolving Open Banking strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders across retail, small business, wealth, operations, data, and risk management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct the evaluation, approval, execution, and value measurement of strategic capabilities aligned with business objectives.
- Support the definition of the enterprise open banking business model and strategy, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and benefits.
- Own and prioritize the Product Backlog of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to shape strategies and define executable MVPs with a focus on customer outcomes.
- Conduct needs analysis for change management initiatives and prepare workflows for new processes.
- Serve as a facilitator and relationship-builder among key stakeholders.
**What You’ll Bring:**
- 7+ years of experience in digital banking and product development.
- Strong knowledge of payments, industry trends, and innovative digital platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic negotiating skills.
- Experience in an Agile environment is preferred.
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or business (MBA is an asset).
