**Position Overview:**

As a Product Owner for Open Banking, your primary responsibility will be to drive the execution of priority outcomes for our Open Banking journey, enable internal teams, and make value-based decisions through collaboration with business owners. You will actively contribute to Scotiabank’s evolving Open Banking strategy and collaborate closely with various lines of business including retail, small business, wealth management, operations, data, and risk management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct the evaluation, approval, execution, and value measurement of strategic capabilities aligned with Lines of Business strategy objectives.
- Support the definition of the enterprise Open Banking business model, including KPIs and benefits.
- Own and maintain the Product Backlog of MVPs, ensuring alignment with industry trends and internal strategy.
- Oversee the day-to-day development and execution of the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
- Lead the development and ongoing tracking/reporting of business and delivery KPIs.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to shape strategies and define executable MVPs.
- Drive change management efforts for related outcomes, including conducting needs analysis and preparing workflows.
**Qualifications:**
- 7 years of experience in digital banking and digital product development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic negotiating skills.
- Strong knowledge of payments, industry trends, and innovative digital platforms.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is an asset.
- University Degree in engineering, computer science, or business (MBA is an asset).
- A positive attitude and the confidence to drive team priorities.
