**Position Overview:**
CPA Ontario is seeking a Professional Advisor to provide timely and confidential advisory services to members, students, and the general public regarding technical accounting and assurance questions, regulatory and ethical issues, and practice management.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Interpret accounting and assurance standards as well as CPA Ontario Bylaws and Regulations to address inquiries.
- Liaise with various provincial and national committees, providing feedback on technical and ethical matters.
- Develop and review advisory-related guidance and support materials.
- Communicate member concerns and conduct outreach to raise awareness of Professional Advisory Services.
- Coordinate consultation events on proposed changes to accounting and ethics standards and prepare feedback on exposure drafts.
- Participate in training program development and delivery.
- Provide insight on technical professional standards to regulatory functions and business units.
- Perform technical reviews of publications.
- Stay current with professional standards, laws, and regulations by attending courses and events.

**Qualifications:**
- CPA member in good standing with a minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting, assurance standards, and CPA Ontario regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Strong organization and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.
- Interest in emerging technologies and trends affecting the CPA profession.
