**Position Overview:**
The Leadership for Professional Services Lead at HDR in Canada is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and directing the business classes dedicated to project delivery excellence in their specialized disciplines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the business group manager, market sector leads, and department managers to ensure team cohesion and facilitate staff career development.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide oversight to engineering, planning, and construction administration technical services across the transportation business group.
- Enhance and promote technical skills development.
- Contribute to workload management through technical staff assignment to projects.
- Direct quality programs in alignment with the Canada Quality Lead.
- Participate in technical reviews and mentoring.
- Support overall strategy, development, and leadership for each Business Class.
- Advance HDR’s technical industry presence at conferences and through external learning opportunities.
**Qualifications:**
**Preferred:**
- Minimum of 15 years' experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the local market.
- Evidence of strategic thinking and a collaborative problem-solving approach.
**Required:**
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional Field, Architecture, Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience with professional registration and relevant technical experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams.
- Ability to work cooperatively with regional and local office managers, and other key stakeholders.
