**Python / .Net Developer**

**Location:** Toronto

**Work Arrangement:** Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Python developer who also has a grasp of C#.Net to join our dynamic banking technology team. This role is integral to a major integration project supporting our global transaction banking systems.

**Project Overview**
We are undertaking an ambitious initiative to build and integrate over 20 applications into a single core vendor product to support our global transaction banking systems. This project will:
- Create a unified core front-end for corporate banking (Internet, Vendor Managed and Vendor Hosted)
- Support US market expansion
- Implement comprehensive corporate cash management systems
- Deploy correspondent banking systems
- Enhance business, commercial, and corporate systems

**Key Application Areas**
- Payables and receivables
- Information reporting
- Liquidity management
- Card projects
- Current accounts
- Payment services
- Cheque clearing

**Required Technical Skills**
- Strong proficiency in OO Python and C# development
- SQL database expertise
- Microservices architecture and implementation
- ASP.NET development
- Web APIs design and development
- Experience with MVC patterns and architecture
- Cloud platform expertise (Azure preferred, AWS experience considered)
- Hands-on cloud development experience

**Desired Experience & Skills**
- Experience in financial services technology, particularly:
- Payment systems
- Transaction banking
- Wire transfers
- SWIFT messaging
- Databricks / Azure cloud exposure
