**Job Title: Quality Assurance and Product Engineering Analyst**
**Location: Innovation Centre - Bolton**

**Position Purpose:**
The Quality Assurance and Product Engineering Analyst will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Quality, Engineering, and Operations to address product and process issues, ensuring compliance with Home Depot and regulatory standards. This role requires partnership with various cross-functional team members to resolve issues stemming from product testing failures, inspections, factory audits, and product returns.

**Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:**
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive product improvement related to merchandise quality, safety, and performance.
- Address quality issues through supplier corrective actions, benchmarking, and value engineering.
- Establish and maintain alignment with the Global Quality and Product Engineering teams and processes.
- Understand Home Depot's internal and external customers, global sourcing processes, and proprietary brand initiatives.
- Collaborate with third-party service providers and the Atlanta Product Engineering team to enhance program execution and address testing failures, improving speed to market.
- Ensure products meet Canadian-specific needs and standards, guaranteeing compliance for merchandise in Canadian stores.
- Establish and maintain metrics reporting (RTV) to promote continuous improvement in vendor product performance.
- Communicate quality and safety performance effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide product engineering guidance and evaluations as needed to achieve short-term business goals.

**Qualifications:**
- College or University Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Product Engineering.
- Familiarity with material and product testing processes, and experience working with third-party inspection and testing companies.
- Exposure to Quality Assurance in a global sourcing, manufacturing, or procurement environment is an asset.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:**
- Experience in a Quality Assurance and/or Product Engineering context within manufacturing, distribution, and/or retail.
- Strong understanding of product specifications and validating compliance with industry standards.
- Proven experience in measuring vendor performance and addressing quality issues to foster continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations.
- Proficient in responding positively to challenges and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with testing standards (CSA, UL, ASTM, etc.) and the skill to interpret these standards for clarity.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel.
