**About The Role:**
We are seeking a Quality Specialist to join our Infrastructure division, reporting to the Senior Quality Manager. The Quality Specialist is responsible for training and supporting Quality Coordinators and project team members in planning, implementing, coordinating, and reporting on Quality Management System (QMS) requirements at the project level.

**Essential Functions:**
- Involved in the Tender Quality Assessment (TQA) and Project Quality Risk Assessment (PQRA).
- Support the development of Project Specific Quality Plans (PSQP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
- Manage deficiency management and lessons learned processes while focusing on internal and external customer needs.
- Oversee quality requirements for multiple projects with guidance from the Senior Quality Manager.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement Project Specific Quality Plans (PSQP) in collaboration with project teams.
- Mentor Quality Coordinators and Inspectors.
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop training plans and conduct on-site training.
- Assist in pre-construction start-up meetings to communicate quality requirements.
- Review Quality Plans and ITP submissions to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
- Participate in inspection and testing activities, including testing and commissioning processes.
- Manage the Deficiency Management Process and review relevant reports (FSR, CAR, NCR).
- Lead quality audits and support field supervision with quality inspections and reporting.
- Develop and communicate quality performance standards and metrics to stakeholders.
- Prepare status reports for clients and the Senior Quality Manager on QMS progress and improvements.

**Education and Qualifications:**
- Trade experience, certification, diploma, or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in quality-related roles on medium to large-scale civil/infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing internal quality systems within a General Contracting environment.
- Certification as a quality professional from a certifying body and successful completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course.
- Strong technical proficiency in quality-related legislation, auditing, and data analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to solve problems and maintain effective customer relationships.
