**Position Overview:**
Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is seeking a Recruitment Sourcer to join our talent acquisition team for a 6-month contract in Toronto or Vancouver. This role is essential for identifying and attracting top talent to our organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including LinkedIn, professional networks, job boards, and industry-specific events, to engage potential candidates.
- Conduct market research to create talent maps and identify potential candidates.
- Perform advanced Boolean searches to analyze educational backgrounds, previous employers, and job titles of candidates.
- Attend networking events, career fairs, and university outreach programs to connect with prospective candidates.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future openings.

**Candidate Engagement:**
- Initiate contact with potential candidates through phone, email, and social media.
- Develop and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates for current and future opportunities.

**Research and Market Intelligence:**
- Analyze industry trends, company structures, and competitive landscapes to inform recruitment strategies.
- Create detailed organizational charts for target companies to understand reporting structures and identify potential candidates.
- Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to support talent acquisition efforts.
- Stay updated on industry news and best practices in talent acquisition.

**Data Analysis and Reporting:**
- Generate reports on sourcing activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Identify patterns in the recruitment process to inform strategy improvements.
- Track the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-informed decisions.

**Qualifications:**
- 4+ years of experience in recruitment sourcing, preferably in financial services and executive search.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search methods.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
