**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dynamic instructor for our Renovation and Construction Technician program who can provide both theoretical and practical learning to our students.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of the field.
- Instruct curriculum using pre-authorized materials.
- Deliver diverse and systematic lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussions, and projects.
- Employ appropriate adult teaching strategies to communicate effectively with diverse students.
- Administer and mark assessments to monitor and evaluate student progress.
- Evaluate student performance fairly, providing prompt feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Ensure a clean and orderly classroom environment.
- Support the admissions team with potential student inquiries.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and events such as graduation.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Stay current in the subject matter through professional development.
- Exhibit teamwork and problem-solving skills.

**Skills Required**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database systems.
- Knowledge and experience with AUTO CAD Level I and II are required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional business attire and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on Canadian experience in the renovations field.

**Qualifications**
- 48 months of work experience in the field, OR
- 36 months of teaching experience in the field and 24 months of work experience, OR
- 24 months of work experience in the field AND a Bachelor's degree from a Canadian university or equivalent.
- Graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent.
- Graduate of a registered OCC or equivalent AEC/DEP or Skilled Trades Certificate (Preferred).
