**Position Overview:**
As an Assistant Store Manager (ASM), you will be crucial in delivering a distinctive shopping experience by managing, maintaining, and supervising daily retail operations in collaboration with the Store Manager and company management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Team Leadership:**
- Motivate and inspire team members to maintain a positive, knowledgeable, and hardworking environment.
- Support the Store Manager and team members with guidance and constructive feedback to foster professional growth.
- Provide access to policies and work procedures to ensure clarity within the team.

- **Sales and Customer Service:**
- Utilize feedback from customers and team members to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Monitor employee and store sales daily to track and optimize performance.

- **Daily Store Operations:**
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Organize and communicate required reporting and state tracking system documentation.
- Assist in inventory management and sales audits, performing daily opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee stock levels and coordinate with management for inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Manage receiving processes for wholesale deliveries.

**Qualifications:**

- 4-5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of cannabis plants and various strains.
- Familiarity with AGCO standards and local regulations related to cannabis retail.
- Ability to obtain a Cannabis Retail Manager License from AGCO.
- Clean criminal background check is required.
