**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a Sales Manager to develop the business in Canada, focusing on vertical markets such as Security, Transportation, and Automation. This is a home office-based position in the Toronto, ON area, though other major cities in Canada may be considered based on applicant experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Proactively develop new business opportunities across Canada.
- Engage with specifying consulting and engineering firms, end users (e.g., municipalities, security systems integrators, automation integrators), and develop channel partners in Security, Transportation, Oil and Gas, Utilities, and Automation.
- Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales leads, working independently to manage the sales process from initial approach to closing.
- Lead, train, and support regional outside channel partner sales professionals.
- Collaborate with Vertical Markets Teams, internal Marketing Team, Product Marketing Team, Field Application Engineers, and Technical Support Team to promote Antaira products.
- Attend and exhibit at trade shows to generate leads and engage in technical discussions with potential partners and end users.
- Maintain strong communication and negotiation skills while promoting the Antaira brand.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the Security, Utilities, Transportation, and Automation market.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing communication strategies.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with team members and outside partners.
- Flexibility in rapidly changing situations.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Willingness to travel 50%+.
- Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
