**The Opportunity:**

Lead our end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning process to ensure that commercial and operational strategies are aligned to enable successful execution of Maple Leaf’s business objectives. Responsible for overseeing all steps (0-5) in our S&OP process, including Portfolio Segmentation and annual Master Capacity Planning. The S&OP Manager will also progress our Planning Excellence maturity by leading and facilitating engagement across all stakeholders involved in our organizational planning.

**Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:**

- Oversee the monthly S&OP cadence, including creation of the annual S&OP calendar, management of invites to key stakeholders for Steps 0-5, ensuring an action-oriented mindset based on collaboration and accountability.
- Highlight key actions and progress from prior cycles and clearly identify focus areas for the upcoming cycle in Step 0.
- Support Step 1 (Demand Review) by ensuring the monthly load of the Finance LE (Latest Estimate) into IBP and validating data integrity.
- Prepare core content and provide monthly updates of high and low probability New Product Introductions (NPI) for capacity analysis in Step 2 (Supply Review).
- Co-lead Step 3 (Operating Review) by preparing core content, surfacing key demand/supply gaps from Step 2, and leading the dialogue to align on necessary actions or escalation to Step 4.
- Prepare core content and create, source, or consolidate auxiliary content for Step 4 (Executive Review), ensuring clear and updated actions.
- Lead Step 5 (Portfolio Segmentation) by executing bi-annual analysis and facilitating SKU recommendations with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Own and facilitate annual Master Capacity Planning (MCP) with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Purchasing, and Distribution.
- Reconcile anticipated unconstrained demand with capacity levels in our Prepared Meats manufacturing network and identify required capacity projects/investments.
- Prepare materials for executive review (CEO, COO, and Senior Leadership Team).
- Lead bi-annual Planning Excellence maturity check-ins with cross-functional stakeholders to celebrate progress and advance collectively.
- Own and evolve the corporate Planning Excellence playbook annually based on learnings and enhancements.

**What You’ll Bring:**

- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Planning/management, including Manufacturing and Logistics activities.
