**Purpose:**
The Business and Family Wealth Specialist (BFWS) is responsible for providing comprehensive planning and advisory support to our complex Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and business owner clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the planning process by coordinating the integration of expert resources and delivering comprehensive planning recommendations.
- Conduct consultation meetings with clients and their Relationship Managers (RMs) to identify planning opportunities.
- Proactively communicate about Ultra High Net Worth Client planning and business transition services available at Scotiabank.
- Collaborate with local sales management to increase awareness and promote the Advanced planning offering.
- Develop an understanding of Scotiabank's Team of Experts (TOE) offerings and establish strong relationships with local partners.
- Manage relationships with external specialists and engage them during the planning process as necessary.
- Contribute to the Advanced Planning Team by assisting in the development and testing of processes, policies, and tools.
- Participate in team learning and development activities, encouraging new ideas and strategies.
**Qualifications:**
- Professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, LLB) or significant knowledge of related technical planning issues and strategies.
- Accredited financial planning designation (CFP, RFP, PFP, or equivalent).
- Minimum ten years of experience delivering planning solutions to business owners and/or Ultra High Net Worth clients.
