**The Role:**
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with a strong background in AI frameworks, governance, and transformative project delivery. This 12-month contract position offers the potential for long-term placement and provides a unique opportunity to support the advancement of AI-driven travel services and customer experiences. You will work closely with data science, engineering, and product teams to enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and service quality across the organization.
**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with the AI Center of Excellence to design and implement AI governance and framework structures.
- Identify and deploy AI and machine learning solutions addressing complex challenges in the travel sector.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for applications including natural language processing, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
- Analyze large datasets to provide insights for AI model development and improvements.
- Maintain and optimize AI systems for reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Stay updated on AI/ML advancements, applying innovative techniques to enhance AI capabilities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage and deliver on a backlog of projects, including enhancements and troubleshooting.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience with AI and machine learning, evidenced by a portfolio of successful projects.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java; experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Strong knowledge of data processing tools such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
- Salesforce Einstein experience is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with a track record of working collaboratively.
