**What You’ll Be Doing:**
As a Central Regulatory Supervisor reporting to the Senior Manager, Central Regulatory Supervision Team (CRST), CIBC Governance and Controls, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting daily and monthly CIRO ID Tier One trade reviews and supervising activities for CIBC Imperial Service/Private Wealth Management and CIBC Financial Planning Inc.
- Performing trade reviews within 24 hours to flag activities such as manipulative trading, suitability issues, concentrated securities, and conflicts of interest.
- Retaining evidence of reviews and responding to queries.
- Reviewing new account documentation, KYC, and ensuring client holdings meet established investment thresholds.
- Liaising with internal CIBC departments such as Compliance, AML, and PWM.
**Who You Are:**
- You have experience with CIBC internal/external regulatory risk policies and procedures.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential risk issues and trends.
- Proficient in systems such as ADP, TOPS, and IBM CM; strong Excel skills are essential.
- Certified professional with at least 2 years of registration with CIRO.
- You have successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH); additional courses are beneficial.
- You possess excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail, enhancing your critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
