**Job Title:** Senior Analyst, Fixed Income Manager Research
**Location:** Hybrid (Toronto Office / Virtual)

**Role Overview:**
As a key member of our global fixed income manager research team, you will cover global and regional mandates. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for selected fixed income managers, addressing investment-related questions.
- Supporting team members as an alternate researcher for selected managers.
- Creating and maintaining standard reports, and presenting confidently to consultants and clients.
- Assisting clients in achieving their investment objectives, including manager selection and structure.
- Collaborating directly with Canadian client teams, including our OCIO investment team, to provide fixed income solutions and recommendations.
- Participating in manager research meetings, analyzing findings, and formulating ratings for specific products.
- Communicating team views on investment products and collaborating with Aon's Global Fixed Income team (US, UK).

**Qualifications:**

**Essential Skills and Experience:**
- Strong academic background with a university degree.
- 7+ years of experience in the investment industry, preferably at an investment consultant or OCIO provider.
- Thorough understanding of the institutional investment industry and investment processes.
- Knowledge of credit analysis techniques, security/fund selection, and portfolio construction.
- Comprehensive understanding of investment risk metrics and their application in portfolio management.

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
- CFA or CAIA designation (or currently studying for it).
- Good knowledge of key players in the asset manager community.
- Understanding of Liability Driven Investment specific to Canadian investors.
- Familiarity with the Canadian pension fund and endowment & foundation markets.
- Knowledge and implementation of ESG practices.
