**Responsibilities:**
- **Promotion Planning:** Maintain and update the Merchandising Calendar & Instructions; communicate program details to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in creating weekly ad block allocations and use historical sales data to identify opportunities for improved promotional sales and profitability.
- Conduct promotion-specific historical analysis to assist in item selection and provide recommendations on pricing.
- Monitor execution and results of all promotions and in-store programs.

- **Promotion Execution:** Verify data flow in Promotional Systems, confirm planning timelines, and conduct daily sales report integrity checks.
- Perform competitive reviews, highlighting opportunities for promotions and seasonal programs.
- Request and set up program numbers, theme codes, and coupons; proof item pricing and flyer completion.

**Requirements:**
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or Economics preferred.
- Previous experience in retail operations and/or merchandising planning is preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Loblaw systems (JDA, SAP) is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
