**What You’ll Be Doing:**
In this role, you will provide leadership in improving the overall control environment within CIBC and lead multi-skilled audit teams on complex audits in various Finance groups of the Bank. You will provide an independent opinion on the design and effectiveness of operational and management controls, and develop strong relationships with business partners. This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement, with 1-3 days on-site.

**How You’ll Succeed:**
- **Audit Execution:** Plan and manage audit assignments, identify key business processes, assess risks, and evaluate the control environment.
- **Audit Reporting:** Identify control weaknesses, assess their impact, and work with management to develop actionable plans to mitigate risks.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Communicate risks effectively and foster a positive team environment that enhances audit practices and efficiency.

**Who You Are:**
- You have at least 5 years of progressive experience in audit and a strong understanding of Financial Accounting and Reporting. Experience in Capital Markets or Treasury businesses is an asset.
- You are adaptable and continuously evolve your work processes.
- You are skilled in analyzing complex problems and communicating findings effectively.
- You have a business degree (e.g., M.B.A) or an accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIA).
- You value trust, teamwork, and accountability in the workplace.
