**Job Title: Senior Business Analyst**

**Description:**
We are seeking a highly driven Senior Business Analyst to assist in improving business efficiency. The responsibilities include developing new business strategies and models, communicating to management on how these strategies will enhance business efficiency, and creating monthly performance reports. The candidate will also utilize these reports to identify areas in need of improvement.

**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate proposed technical solutions.
- Work closely with software developers, architects, and other technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including requirements documents, process flows, and technical design documents.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements, discuss technical solutions, and gather feedback.
- Perform data analysis and modeling to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure that technical solutions align with industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and testing.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the industry to recommend innovations and improvements.

**Requirements:**
- Experience with Credit Risk and a solid understanding of Capital Markets, including Derivatives, Swaps, Options, and multiple asset classes.
- Strong knowledge of data elements, data analysis, and experience liaising with business and development teams.
- Proficient in documentation.
- Ability to explain and manually calculate P&L and risk concepts.
- Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle including deal capture, downstream flows, P&L & risk management, accounting, and settlements.
- Understanding of system interfaces and experience with different messaging formats such as XML, FpML, JSON.
- Knowledge of other products like commodities and equities is a plus, but not required.

**Desired Skills:**
- Preferred prior banking experience.
