**Job Posting: Business Systems Analyst**

**About the Role:**
Join the Affinity Technology team in redefining the Sponsor and Customer experience for purchasing and managing family information and benefits coverage. We are seeking a dedicated Business Systems Analyst who is passionate about analyzing needs and defining requirements to solve problems effectively for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate and communicate with IT teams, business partners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements.
- Actively engage in agile ceremonies and review documentation.
- Develop and write user and technical stories based on high-level designs and business requirements.
- Collaborate with product teams, engineers, and architects to create necessary artifacts (stories, acceptance criteria, test results).
- Support testing and validation through demos and functional testing.
- Maintain an organized repository of system documentation and assist in identifying the root causes of defects or functional gaps.
- Prioritize and coordinate the backlog of stories and tasks for incremental delivery.

**Qualifications:**
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and methodologies.

**Bonus Points:**
- Experience in SQL, Excel, and data analysis.
- Background in Life and Living Benefits or Health and Dental insurance products.
- Knowledge of financial reporting or general ledger processes.

**Salary Range:**
$92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD, based on local market conditions and individual qualifications.
