**Position:** Data Services Analyst - Global Banking & Markets
**Overview:**

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the quality and controls for Global Capital Markets trades and transactions data.
- Facilitate data sourcing needs for internal clients, including GBM, Finance, Risk Management, and Treasury.
- Document definitions and provide subject matter expertise to clients.
- Offer guidance on data mapping and transformation to meet business requirements.
- Support assigned data initiatives and understand leading data management practices.
- Analyze data quality issues and perform root cause analysis for remediation.
- Contribute to the governance and development of the trade and transactions data domain.
- Maintain up-to-date definitions and metadata, and manage reference data related to assigned products.
- Continuously improve data management practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
**Qualifications:**
- Experience with capital markets and corporate banking products and processes.
- Understanding of modern data platforms: data controls, acquisition, processing, enrichment, models, and distribution.
- Experience in project delivery, business analysis, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and technical teams.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Knowledge Graph, Ontology, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh is beneficial.
- Graduate Degree in IT or Business-related discipline preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in capital markets and/or corporate banking products preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python is preferred.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Understanding of the global financial regulatory environment preferred.
